Adjustment of subscription price effective from November 1st 2025

With effect from 1 January 2024, microdata.no became a paid service.

Students at institutions that have signed an agreement (subscription category 1 or higher) can use microdata.no free of charge.

New institutions can try microdata.no for three months from the date the agreement is entered into. During this period, the institution will have access to add an unlimited number of users. The trial period can only be used once per institution. Contact microdata@microdata.no for more information.

The pricing model

The price for use is determined based on how many accredited employee users each institution registers in microdata.no. Based on the number of registered users, the institution is charged an annual subscription fee. The number of employee users forms the basis for categorizing the annual subscription price.
