Employees (including PhD candidates) and master’s students at Norwegian universities and university colleges, approved Norwegian research institutions, as well as ministries, directorates, county authorities, and municipalities may be granted access to microdata.no. Employees of consulting firms may also be granted access to microdata.no when working on assignments on behalf of public administration.

The institution/place of study/employer must request access. They are responsible for registering their users. Check whether your institution has access.
